VR Medical Training
Client: Drawcall Engineering
This project involved the design and production of a stereotactic headset for medical and scientific training in virtual reality.
The asset was developed in Maya, Substance Designer, and Unreal Engine, and fully rigged to allow smooth, precise interaction in a VR environment. The model was built at 1:1 scale, with particular attention paid to medical accuracy, including the exact placement of graduations and functional details.
Performance was a key constraint: the headset was carefully optimized for VR, balancing triangle count and texture resolution to maintain both visual fidelity and real-time efficiency.
